2009 World Salsa Championships Awards photos

Special thanks to Albert Torres and the Salsa Six for having Nuevotec at the fourth annual 2009 World Salsa Championships. We are working on a large number of photos and videos from the event.

This year's event faced a number of significant challenges, including the current state of the economy, changing of venues, and music licensing/performance rights. This didn't deter the staffers from organizing a great competition. While the previous champions from the on1 division (Abel and Zulmara), on2 (Oliver and Luda), and cabaret divisions (Jhon and Judy) chose not to compete, the level of competition was still world class. Every division (including the team division) crowned new champions. Below are the top 3 finisher results, and also photos from the awards ceremony for each division (on1, on2, cabaret, and team).
